A very busy and popular Chinese dining restaurant in Guangzhou with many branches scattered all around. My local friend introduced it to me and I was truly thankful for that. We managed to get a table even during the lunch time crowd and I was surprise that the restaurant was actually pretty packed with diners. Left the ordering to my friend and all of the dishes were outstanding. Special mention of the roast goose which was the best tasting one I ever had in my life, even better than the ones from the famous restaurant in Hong Kong. The amazing food was equally matched with outstanding services rendered in which our cups of tea were always kept full. My friend picked up the bill and I had no idea about the pricing but I honestly think that the quality ingredients and outstanding taste would make the prices worthwhile. I have recommended my friends to try this chain of restaurant whenever they are in Guangzhou.

Delicious dim sum here, fresh ingredients, so many varieties here that I have not seen before. It's a pity I can't try all of them, worth your money!

firstly, my most favorite dim sum place right now and the best ever dim sum i have tasted. before this, i never knew dim sum could be this good!! my favorite was the beef parts and the chicken feet. absolutely delicious. the rest were just crazy good and i dont need to say anything else. definitely recommended. just watch out for the crowds, terrible crowds at times.

Yes, this restaurant is so good that we went for a second time but this time at the main store at Shangxiajiu. This time round we managed to order the roast goose and pigeon. They were both delicious as what we expected from their high standards. The restaurant was crazy crowded and it was a bit rowdy.

The har gao was huge and delicious! I usually dont order char siew bao but the bao here was so fluffy and soft. You tiao was HUGE - I suggest not to order this as it was too much. Note that this outlet does not have the full menu compared to the main taotaoju outlet. So we had to go to the main outlet for other dishes.

Best dim sum I've had in my 2 weeks in southern China so far. Very popular so we had to wait a while for a table. The table was also pretty small. A bit more pricey and higher end than other places in the area

Came here hungry. Was a but lost curious where it was located. It is within the mall on 7th floor. Order quite amount of dishes and each one was delicious. It was enough to feed 3 adults. I would say prepare for a line. Waited around 20 to 30 minutes. Please check out this place if you have a chance.

OMG, this was my first taste of proper, fancy Cantonese cuisine! Taotaoju definitely lived up to the hype—nothing we ordered failed. While it's pricier (we spent almost 400 RMB for six people), the experience was great. ​I enjoyed the Dimsum dishes much more than the traditional main courses. The Roast Goose was tasty and enjoyable but a bit too oily and not their best dish, in my opinion. Overall, the quality is excellent. If I ever find myself back in China, I will definitely return for more! A classic, must-try spot.

The food was tasty and at great value! My only gripe was that the 山楂小排骨 had little flavour reminiscent of haw (though the pork rib itself was soft and succulent). After providing the advice, the staff was kind enough to offer us complementary desserts! The seats had a good view and the noise level was low enough to have a comfortable conversation even with a full house.
